Acquisition looks exciting, but retention is where the product tells the truth.

Before scaling acquisition, it is worth asking whether the product earns a second session. Traffic can hide weak retention for a while, but it cannot fix it.
Retention improves when users have a reason to return, a memory of value, and a next step that matters. That reason can be data, habit, collaboration, progress, or identity.
Growth gets easier when the product keeps its promises. Otherwise every campaign is just refilling a leaky bucket.
