Constraints make creative work easier to judge, easier to finish, and easier to repeat.

Blank pages feel open, but they are often slow. Constraints give creative work a shape. They tell you what belongs, what does not, and what tradeoffs are worth making.
The constraint can be a format, a deadline, a user, a palette, a platform, or a business goal. The point is not to shrink ambition. It is to give ambition something to push against.
When the constraint is clear, taste gets sharper. You stop asking what could be made and start asking what should be made.
